Opening up the communication lines between the child and the parent is so important. And during family meals is a great time to do this. The site, www.bingnote.com, focuses on building self-esteem in kids. On the site there are free activity sheets that focus on 8 concepts: I am Strong, Powerful, Healthy, Loving, Harmonious, Creative, Successful, and Happy. And then most of these activity sheets are more discussion-based, so that the parent or an adult can find out what the child is thinking about various topics - even at dinner time. Check it out at www.bingnote.com.
